Care Instructions {for crocheted items}

Hand washing crocheted items is highly recommended as it will keep them looking like new.

{And a must for wool items!}

Fill sink with cool water and a very small amount of mild detergent or dishwashing liquid {I like to use Dawn Original for acrylics/cottons and hair shampoo for wool items}.
Gently agitate the item in the water. Never wring or scrub.

Drain the water, add fresh, cold water and swish item to rinse. Repeat until the water is clear.

To keep the item soft, I like to rinse it again in cool water with a drop or two of hair conditioner. {Especially wool items}

It is very important to never twist or wring crocheted items, this will twist them out of shape.

Gently squeeze out excess water and lay item flat on a dry, absorbent towel and roll up the towel; pressing firmly as you roll. Do not wring.

Place the item on a dry towel and reshape it into it’s original shape.

*Always protect wood surfaces with a vinyl tablecloth under the towel*

Allow item to dry for 24 hours.

Never hang crocheted items to dry (it will stretch them out of shape), and keep items out of sun light.

Enjoy your crocheted cuteness for years to come!
